Hello there! Welcome to Mystro Zoo! Our server is an expansive open-world urban fantasy roleplay that runs on the idea of what if mythical creatures lived in a modern world. Our lore is incredibly detailed and unique, and we also have in-depth geography, so you know exactly how the world looks and feels as you explore the ever-expanding world. There are 5 different character types to choose from when making a character, giving you plenty of creative freedom with character creation as long as they fit within the given rules of the server. We cater to almost every type of genre, including adventure, action, slice of life, academia, and so much more! All are welcome to join, from beginners to experienced roleplayers! While the main intention of the server is to roleplay, we offer plenty of out-of-roleplay channels to hang out and chill in. We also plan on hosting many events both in and out of roleplay to keep the server fun and engaging for all!

Our server is set in a seaside city named Kazla and its surrounding areas. Kazla shares many attributes with the IRL city of San Francisco. Kazla is home to the world-renowned Mystro Zoo, a zoo/aquarium facility that specializes in the containment of mythical creatures (commonly referred to as Mythics). Mythics are beings who have been blessed with magical abilities unique only to them. It is with these abilities that the planet of Artaya can be hospitable for life; without them, it would be reduced to nothing more than an icy rock in space. Centuries prior, Mythics and humans once walked side by side as equals, but tensions soon grew between the two groups as humans lost faith in Mythics and magic as a whole. As of the modern day, Mythics have been heavily hunted, leaving the planet in a perpetual state of decay.
